SWAT:A school building was completely burnt in a fire in the Topsin area of Swat, police said on Friday. According to rescue sources, the fire broke out at 7am in Government High School, Topsin. The cause behind the fire eruption was stated to be a short circuit. As the locals live away from the school building, they remained unaware of the fire. As a result, the fire engulfed the entire school building.

Due to summer vacations, the school building was empty, and the school watchman was also not present in the school. The rescue personnel and TMA fire brigade were informed about the fire late. They reached the spot upon being informed and extinguished the fire, but the fire had already reduced the building to ashes.
