MULTAN:A fire broke out in a yarn factory located at Zainab Textile Mill Industrial Estate in Multan on Saturday night, police said Sunday. According to rescue officials, the fire started when a spark from the yarn factory’s chimney flew into the cotton bales, triggering the blaze.

Rescue teams rushed to the scene and brought the spreading fire under control. The fire has been completely put out and cooling process was under the way, said rescue officials.
