Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb Unveils InvestPak Portal for Investors

Karachi: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb launched the online InvestPak portal for individual and corporate investors in Karachi today. Addressing the ceremony, the Finance Minister said the government remains committed to providing maximum facilitation to investors. He highlighted that the portal has been introduced to promote foreign investment and provide investors with easy access to investment opportunities through a modern digital platform.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Finance Minister further elaborated that an individual investor can make a small investment with as little as five thousand rupees through an Easypaisa or a JazzCash account. He emphasized that the portal will help the growth of investment in the country's capital market and strengthen the national economy. Muhammad Aurangzeb expressed confidence in Pakistan's economic trajectory, noting that with encouraging economic indicators, the country is moving towards economic stability. He also mentioned an increase in the number of investors in the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, Jamil Ahmed, also addressed the ceremony, stating that InvestPak provides a single digital platform for onboarding investors, opening IPS accounts, and investing in government securities. He remarked that this portal is a faster and more transparent platform, available for both retail and corporate investors.
