New York:Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met with the Chair of the US Export-Import Bank, John Jovanovich, to discuss various financing opportunities.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions focused on financing for Pakistan International Airlines' procurement of aircraft, refinery upgrades, and the Reko Diq mining project.

The Finance Minister expressed interest in acquiring Boeing 787 Dreamliners for Pakistan International Airlines and sought a comprehensive financing package that would include both aircraft and engines.

Additionally, the Minister highlighted the significance of the Reko Diq mining project for Pakistan's export future and appreciated the US EXIM Bank's continued support for the endeavor.
