Federal Ombudsman Highlights Record Surge in Public Complaints in 2024

Federal Ombudsman Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi presented the 2024 performance report to President Asif Ali Zardari, revealing a record 226,000 complaints received last year.

This figure marks a 17% increase compared to 2023, indicating a growing public trust in the institution’s capacity to address grievances effectively.

The report underscores the vital role the Federal Ombudsman plays in ensuring citizen grievances are managed efficiently. President Zardari acknowledged the ombudsman’s efforts in delivering swift resolutions and highlighted the importance of reinforcing the grievance redressal system.
