Federal Minister Professor Ahsan Iqbal has left for China to participate in an important meeting regarding the future of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Ahsan Iqbal’s visit is in connection with the 14th Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) meeting to be held in Beijing on September 26. In this meeting, the second phase of the CPEC project will be finalized.
In a statement before his departure, the minister said that in this meeting, the initial action plan for 2025-29, prepared during the Prime Minister’s recent participation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, will be converted into a detailed implementation strategy.
