The Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the energy sector has reached 585.6 million dollars during the current fiscal year (FY) due to the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
During the same period last year, foreign direct investment in the energy sector was 266.3 million dollars, the state-run Radio Pakistan reported on Thursday.
This one hundred and twenty percent increase came through investments in electricity, oil and gas exploration. This increase reflects the potential for growth in key sectors and investor confidence.
