Prime Minister’s Special Assistant for Foreign Affairs, Syed Tariq Fatemi, has called for increased US investment in Pakistan’s textile industry, infrastructure, and human resource development.
Speaking at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington DC, he highlighted the historical ties between the two nations. Fatemi encouraged American investors to explore the investment opportunities in Pakistan.
He appealed to the United States to provide support in education, healthcare, and economic development to foster a long-term partnership of mutual benefit.
Fatemi underscored Pakistan’s efforts in combating terrorism, managing border control, and creating a stable environment for investors. He assured that Pakistan remains a promising destination for foreign investment despite ongoing challenges. The special assistant also reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to maintaining peace in South Asia.
