ISLAMABAD:There is no end to desertions in the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf as one by one its leaders are leaving the party. The latest announcement of the party renunciation has been made by former provincial assembly member Malik Khurram Ali.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Sunday, Khurram Ali condemned May 9 incidents, saying that he felt heartbroken on the violent events of that day. He said that the martyrs sacrificed their lives for us.
He said to do politics, we first have to make our country strong. Lauding Pakistan Army’s efforts, he said: “No matter whether it’s flood or earthquake, our troops are the first to reach the place to help people.”
Another PTI leader, ex-MPA Dr Nadia Aziz will also announce partying ways with her party later today. She will hold a press conference at 5pm to announce her decision to leave the PTI.
