The European Union has expressed optimism that Iran’s nuclear deal will be finalized by the end to this week.

Addressing a news conference in Spain, the European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell hoped the United States will respond positively this week to a proposal that aims to save the landmark 2015 nuclear deal with Iran.
