Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, met with the European Union’s parliamentary delegation for South Asia. The meeting involved offers of investment in the sectors of education, IT, green energy, and health, with an agreement to further strengthen bilateral relations.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister warmly welcomed the EU delegation. Both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, trade, and investment. The Chief Minister stated that Pakistan has reliable relations with the European Union, which are important for trade and development.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif highlighted that Punjab is the heart of the country’s economy and offers a favorable environment for investment. Emphasizing the potential of the youth, she noted that the young people of Pakistan have the capability to connect with the global job market.
The EU delegation praised the innovative initiatives of the Punjab government and expressed that the relations between both sides would become more robust. There was also a discussion on Pakistan’s efforts towards global peace.
