QUETTA: Caretaker Minister for Information, Jan Achakzai, has said that election would be conducted on Thursday (Feb 8) at any cost.

Addressing a press conference outside Block No.13 at Balochistan Civil Secretariat, Quetta here on Wednesday, Achakzai announced to observe three-day mourning across the province in the wake of tragic incidents of Khanozai and Killa Saifullah.

Condemning the bomb blasts in Khanozai area of district Pishin and in Killa Saifullah, he said that the blood of martyrs would be avenged. He said that bomb blasts in Khanozai area of district Pishin and in Killa Saifullah, which took the lives of innocent citizens and causing injuries to many, aimed at vitiating election, adding that the nefarious designs of terrorists would be foiled. He urged people to cast their votes.
