QUETTA: Suhail-ur-Rehman, Secretary, Information Department has said that measures were being adopted to equip the Information Department with the requirements of the modern age in accordance with the vision of Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan.

These views were expressed by him during inspection of the new building of Directorate General, Public Relations, Balochistan here on Friday. He said that the Information Department played the role of bridge between government and the people, adding that people were being informed about the initiatives taken by the government for the welfare of the people.

He added that all the facilities of modern era would be provided to the department by equipping the department with the latest tools for arranging press conferences, video conferences and facilities of FM Radio station. He added that steps would also be taken for enhancing the capacity building of the employees of Directorate General, Public Relations Balochistan. On the occasion, Secretary, Communication and Works Department, Ghulam Ali Baloch and other authorities were also present.
