The district administration of Shirani and Shirani Levies are engaged in efforts to extinguish a fire in forests of the hilly areas of Balochistan’s Shirani district.

Due to the intensity of the fire, officials from the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) have stated that helicopters will be used to extinguish it, and they are being requested.

Speaking to the media, the Deputy Commissioner of Shirani mentioned that a request has also been made to senior officials for the provision of safety kits and other necessary equipment to control the fire.
