The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has reminded all heads of the political parties to submit their consolidated statements of Accounts for the last fiscal year on or before July 29.

It is imperative upon a political party to submit a consolidated statement of its accounts to the commission within sixty days from the close of a financial year.

The ECP said the statement shall contain an accurate picture of the financial position of the party and no funds were received by the party from any source prohibited under the Election Act, 2017.

It said printed forms are available free of cost in the Election Commission Secretariat, Islamabad and in the offices of the provincial Election Commissioners. Besides, Form-D and proforma for source of funds are available on ECP’s website.
