ISLAMABAD:The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC), which met here in Islamabad on Wednesday with Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar in the chair, approved different development projects.

These projects include construction of Awaran and Panjgur Dams and Resilient Housing Reconstruction and Restoration in Balochistan province. Approval was also accorded to the Punjab Urban land Systems enhancing project, dualization of road in Bahawalpur district.

The ECNEC also approved phase-1 of establishment of regional grids in Gilgit Baltistan.

It approved construction or reconstruction of existing schools rains and floods affected areas of Sindh and revised Sindh Solar project.
