The Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet (ECC) has sanctioned a technical supplementary grant for the Defence Division to procure bullet-proof vehicles, while also approving a separate grant to reward the Pakistan Under-19 Men”s Cricket Team for a recent international achievement.

The decisions were made during a meeting in the capital, presided over by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, according to an official information today.

The grant for the national junior cricket squad was authorised in recognition of their outstanding performance and noteworthy success on the international stage.

The chair observed that such formal acknowledgement not only values sporting excellence but also serves as an encouragement for young talent representing the country with distinction at global forums.

In a separate move, the ECC endorsed a summary presented by the Defence Division, finalising the approval for the grant related to the acquisition of the armoured vehicles.
