QUETTA: Election Commission Balochistan on Sunday issued a list of candidates of national and provincial assemblies general seats of the province.

A statement issued by the provincial Election Commission said that 442 candidates, including 428 male and 22 female, would be competing against 16 general seats of National Assembly in the province while 1286 candidates, including 1248 male and 38 female, are contesting against 51 general seats of Balochistan provincial assembly.

According to Election Commission, all political parties have been urged to give five percent representation to female candidates in accordance with Election Act-2017. It said that electoral symbols have been allotted to all candidates.
