Mainly dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country while cold in hilly areas during the next twelve hours.
However, cloudy weather and thunderstorm light rain, drizzle is expected at few places in central Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir during evening and night.

Islamabad twelve centigrade, Lahore seventeen, Karachi twenty-three, Peshawar fourteen, Quetta thirteen, Gilgit five and Murree and Muzaffarabad nine degree centigrade.
Met Office has forecast cloudy weather with chances of rain wind-thunderstorm and snow over the mountains in Leh, Anantnag and Baramula, partly cloudy weather in Jammu and partly cloudy weather with chances of rain wind-thunderstrom in Srinagar, Pulwama and Shopian.
Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar, Pulwama, Shopian, Baramulla five degree centigrade. Jammu thirteen, Anantnag four and Leh minus three degree centigrade.
