Dry and Hot Weather Expected Across Most Parts of the Country

Pakistan Meteorological Department said in a report today that the country is likely to experience mainly dry weather during the next 24 hours, with hot conditions during the daytime in several regions, according to the latest weather forecast.

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. While the majority of areas will remain dry, northern districts may witness partly cloudy conditions. Cold weather is expected in Murree, Galliyat, and surrounding areas during morning and night hours.

In Punjab, dry weather is expected across most districts, with hot conditions in the lower regions. Islamabad and surrounding areas will also experience dry weather, with temperatures rising in the afternoon.

Similar conditions are expected in Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where dry weather will dominate, accompanied by hot temperatures during the day and cooler conditions at night in some areas.

Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are also likely to remain dry throughout the day.

Over the past 24 hours, dry weather prevailed across most parts of the country, while cold conditions were observed in hilly areas. However, isolated rain, wind, and thunderstorms occurred in Kashmir, upper Punjab, Bagrote, and Kakul. Rainfall was recorded in various locations, with the highest in Rawalakot, which received 15mm of rain.

The forecast suggests that no significant weather changes are expected in the coming days, with dry and warm conditions continuing in most areas.
