A Datsun pickup driver was injured in a shooting incident near Punjunja Landi in Chagai district on Sunday.

According to rescue sources, unidentified bandits opened fire on the driver during an attempted robbery. The victim, Amin, was rushed to Dalbandin Hospital for treatment.

The assailants fled the scene after swift operation. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

In a separate event, unidentified miscreants targeted two trailers on Zubaida Jalal Road in the Sarenkun Negranabad area of Tump. The attackers opened fire, causing damage to the vehicles. The culprits managed to escape before law enforcement arrived.
