ISLAMABAD:,,, Caretaker Minister for National Health Services, Dr Nadeem Jan has urged all segments of society to play their role in eradication of polio from the country.
Addressing National Ulema Conference in Islamabad on Thursday, he said the government is taking all measures to ensure the eradication of polio.
The Health Minister requested the Ulema and religious scholars to use Masjid and Mehrab for the noble cause. Speaking on the occasion, Special Representative to the Prime Minister on Religious Harmony Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said it is a national issue and it has no link with any sect. He urged media to spread awareness among masses about the sensitivity of this very serious issue.
