North Waziristan: The newly appointed District Police Officer (DPO) North Waziristan Farhan Khan assumed the charge of his office on Friday.

He visited Police Lines Miranshah, where a well-armed contingent of police offered him a guard of honor and salute. Meanwhile, the DPO Farhan Khan laid flowers at the Shuhada memorial and prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs. All DSPs were present on the occasion.

Line Officer Rehan Khan welcomed the District Police Chief and introduced the staff posted in the DPO office. The district police officer issued instructions to the staff to further improve their performance as he believed in working on the basis of mutual cooperation.

Therefore, he said every official should become a servant of the people and make sincerity, generosity and hard work to complete his motto and fulfill the duty of crime prevention and peace building in the best possible way.
