Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister of Turkiye Hakan Fidan have reviewed bilateral relations and regional developments of mutual interest during a telephonic conversation.

According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders reaffirmed their shared position on Palestine and expressed support for the joint statement by eight Arab-Islamic countries regarding the UK's decision to ban imports from illegal Israeli settlements and restrict services associated with such settlements. They also backed the Joint Statement on the Two-State Solution issued by the UK and other European countries.

The discussion emphasized the importance of maintaining close consultations on regional matters, particularly through the Regional Four (R4) framework, which includes Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The leaders also agreed to meet on the sidelines of the forthcoming United Nations General Assembly session in New York.
