DPM Chairs Meeting of Committee on Improving Government Efficiency

Islamabad: A meeting of the Committee on Improving Government Efficiency, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, was held in Islamabad today. The committee focused on discussing and finalizing actionable recommendations aimed at enhancing various aspects of government operations.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting concentrated on five key areas: restructuring of the Federal Secretariat, upgrading the e-Office into a decision-making processing system, transforming the MS Wing, reforming the Performance Evaluation Report (PER) system, and developing a Whole-of-Government Approach. These recommendations are set to be presented to the Prime Minister for consideration.
