Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) is intensifying its endeavors to aid flood victims, declared Managing Director Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt. He made this statement while leading a virtual meeting to assess the organization”s relief operations.

Professor Dr. Zeeshan Danish, Director General PBM projects, Director Projects Qasim Zafar, and other officials participated in the discussion. Butt also conducted a separate online session, receiving updates from provincial and regional directors on the ongoing assistance for those impacted by the floods.

The director was briefed that PBM personnel, working with local authorities and charitable groups, are distributing food, powdered milk, medical supplies, tents, clothes, and other necessities to flood-stricken communities. Through its initiative “Khana Sab Kay Ley (Food for Everyone),” PBM is also providing meals and relief supplies using mobile food trucks and offering temporary housing in shelters.

Captain Shaheen instructed officials to assist flood victims with complete dedication. He also directed that, following the fulfillment of immediate needs, measures should be initiated for their financial recovery. District offices should be activated to arrange temporary housing and meals for flood victims in Sweet Homes and Women Empowerment Centers.

The PBM chief reiterated the pledge that flood victims will receive full support during this challenging period. Under the Prime Minister”s guidance, PBM is maximizing its efforts to alleviate their hardship. Senator Butt added that effective steps will be implemented for the education and care of children orphaned by the floods, and wheelchairs and prosthetic limbs will be given to those who have been injured.

He stressed that addressing the immediate food and shelter requirements of flood victims is paramount, urging philanthropists and aid organizations nationwide to collaborate with the government to fulfill their civic, humanitarian, and national duties.
