Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi received a heartfelt send-off from the Pakistan Riders Group (PRG) at the Embassy of Pakistan, as the envoy concluded his distinguished tenure in the United Arab Emirates. The gesture highlighted the strong community ties fostered during his service.
According to an official statement released Saturday, Ambassador Tirmizi acclaimed the organization for its passion and commitment to advancing a favorable impression of Pakistan through its various activities. He commended the contingent’s significant role in community engagement and encouraged them to persist in their efforts to bolster Pakistan’s soft image internationally.
The ambassador conveyed his deep gratitude for the group’s gesture, noting that its members had travelled from different parts of the Emirates to personally extend their good wishes upon the completion of his diplomatic assignment.
The ceremony included a formal exchange of honors. Ambassador Tirmizi presented a shield to Mr. Omar Tariq (Mirza Khud), the President of PRG. In return, Mr. Tariq presented a commemorative jacket to the ambassador on behalf of the riders’ association. The outgoing envoy also distributed certificates of appreciation to PRG members, recognizing their valuable contributions.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Tariq expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Tirmizi for his consistent support and patronage. He noted that the organization is actively involved in numerous community and outreach initiatives designed to project a positive perception of Pakistan within the UAE.
The farewell was attended by senior officials from the Embassy and the full contingent of the visiting Pakistan Riders Group, marking a warm and memorable conclusion to the ambassador’s tenure.
