KARACHI: Dense fog on Sunday engulfed several plain areas of the country due to which Motorway M-2 from Lahore to Kot Momin, Lahore-Multan Motorway and Motorway M-4 from Pindi Bhattian to Darkhana have been closed for sorts of traffic.

Moreover, visibility became zero on Narowal to Kartarpur road due to dense fog. Similarly, traffic flow was also affected on Muridke road, New Lahore road and Sialkot road. On the other hand, dense fog engulfed Hafizabad city and its adjacent areas where visibility dropped to zero and traffic flow was disrupted.

As per the weather report, a shallow trough of a westerly wave is affecting the upper parts of the country on Sunday. Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in all districts of the Punjab province, while partly cloudy and cold weather is expected in Kashmir today.
