QUETTA: Head of Balochistan Grand Alliance Nawabzada Haji Mir Lashkari Raisani has said that delay in election would strengthen undemocratic forces.

These views were expressed by him while addressing a press conference with Mir Hamayun Aziz Kurd, Mir Nasir Qambrani, Raza-ur-Rehman and other leaders of Balochistan Grand Alliance at Quetta Press Club here on Tuesday.

He said that Supreme Court of Pakistan had ordered for conducting election on stipulated date, hence, delay in election would strengthen undemocratic forces.

If the election of 1970 had been accepted, there would have been five provinces of the country, said he. On the occasion, Mir Nasir Qambrani, independent candidate announced to withdraw in favour of Mir Hamayun Aziz Kurd, candidate of Balochistan Grand Alliance for NA-264.
