A ceremony in connection with the Defence and Martyrs Day was held at Martyrs’ Monument Naval Headquarters in Islamabad on Friday.

Vice Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Awais Ahmed Bilgrami placed a floral wreath at the monument and prayed for high ranks of martyrs and security and solidarity of the country.

According to a Radio Pakistan’s report, the Vice Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Awais Ahmed Bilgrami also met with the families of the martyrs.
