Hameed Kashmiri, whose real name was Abdul Hameed, was born on June 1, 1929, in Murree. He was a prolific writer, contributing an extensive collection of short stories, more than fifteen novels, and over 50 individual plays.According to Radio Pakistan, Hameed Kashmiri also made significant contributions to radio, with his notable radio play "Emergency Ward" spanning 16 episodes.
