ISLAMABAD:Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said Sunday in his speech in the Senate that Pakistan would fulfil all its international responsibilities. “The agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will be completed, and all the payments will be made on time. All preparations are complete,” he said. “Foreign exchange reserves are improving over time. The world wanted us to default. Forecasts were made about the default of the country. Alhamdulillah! The country has escaped default,” he stated.

“China, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) extended full support. Our 10 to 11 months in the government were very challenging. We are a nuclear power. We will lead the Muslim Ummah if we solve our economic problems,” he added.
