Damaged Jaffar Express Coaches Brought to Quetta for Repairs

The damaged coaches of Jaffar Express, which were targeted in an attack earlier this month, have been brought to Quetta Railway Station for repairs. The coaches had shattered windows and visible bullet marks.

Railway officials confirmed that necessary repairs will be carried out before the coaches are put back into service. The train was attacked on March 11, 2025, near Maskaf in Bolan by armed men belonging to the banned militant group Baloch Liberation Army. The assault caused damage to multiple coaches.

Authorities are assessing security measures to prevent future incidents and ensure the safety of railway operations in the region.
