Currency Exchange Rates Show Slight Upward Trend in Pakistan

The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan released new currency exchange rates on Monday showing a slight upward trend compared to rates from May 3.

The USD buying rate increased from 281.40 to 281.46, while the EURO buying rate rose from 317.54 to 318.62. The GBP buying rate showed an increase from 373.05 to 373.97.

The JPY buying rate advanced from 1.90 to 1.92, with the AED buying rate moving from 76.49 to 76.52. The SR buying rate experienced a minor decline from 75.14 to 75.10. These rates reflect changes in the international currency market, impacting both local businesses and consumers.

The interbank rate for USD was also updated, showing a range between 281.25 and 281.45, a slight shift from previous figures. The association’s release provides crucial information for economic forecasting and planning.
