QUETTA:Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan, has said that crackdown on smuggling of essential commodities like sugar, urea, and wheat would soon be launched to protect economy.

This he informed while chairing a high level meeting in the committee room of Chief Secretary’s office here on Thursday. He said that no leniency for those involved in illegal activities, adding, “Let us work together to ensure a fair and prosperous society”.

On the occasion, Saleh Muhammad Nasar, Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Zahid Saleem, Secretary, Secretary, Finance Department, Government of Balochistan, Asfundyar Khan, Secretary, Health Department and others were also present.
