JAND: A Jand police constable on Friday foiled a kidnapping bid of a female lawyer by her ex-husband.

According to police, a man attempted to kidnap his ex-wife, a lawyer by profession, outside the district courts in Jand. The accused also fired shots in the air which sent a wave of panic and fear in the area.

However, a police head constable bravely foiled the kidnapping attempt of the woman. The police also arrested the accused and his accomplices and recovered weapons from them.
