QUETTA: Two men, including a police constable, were killed in two different incidents in the provincial capital on Monday.
According to rescue sources, unidentified gunmen shot dead a man, Juma Gul Khan Kakar, son of Muhammad Khan Kakar, aged 40, a resident of Ghousabad, Quetta, in Barma hotel area of the provincial capital.
The assailant managed to escape after swift operation. The body was shifted to Sandeman Provincial Hospital Quetta and later handed over to the heirs after fulfilling necessary medico legal formalities. The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in the victim’s home. Further investigation was being conducted by the concerned authorities.
Separately, a police constable was gunned down after unidentified assailants opened fire at police personnel of Police Station Zarghoonabad at Hanna Bypass area of Quetta, killing police constable Ghulam Murtaza on the spot. The body was shifted to Sandeman Provincial Hospital Quetta and later handed over to the heirs after fulfilling necessary medico-legal formalities.
Further investigation was being conducted by the authorities of Police Station Zatghoonabad, Quetta.child.
