Consul General Lauds Pakistani American Officers at NYPD Event

The Pakistan Heritage and Resolution Day, hosted by the Pakistani American Law Enforcement Society at the New York Police Department Headquarters, saw the participation of Consul General Aamer Ahmed Atozai, who emphasized the significant role Pakistani American officers play in fortifying peace and security in New York’s neighborhoods.

Addressing the gathering, Atozai highlighted the officers’ dedication to public service and their humanitarian efforts in Pakistan, portraying them as “true ambassadors of Pakistan.” He underlined their exemplary commitment to cultural identity and global responsibility, cementing their role as a bridge between communities.

The event also saw attendance from notable figures, including New York Mayor Eric Adams, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Asim Iftikhar, and several NYPD officials, along with a strong representation from the Pakistani American community.
