MUZAFFARABAD:,,, Traders and politicians have raised concern over the worsening power supply situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to KMS report on Wednesday, Kashmir Trade Alliance President, Aijaz Shahdhar, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said the prolonged hours of load-shedding are not only hampering economic activities but also negatively impacting the lives of common people across the occupied territory.

He pointed out that these power outages are exacting a heavy toll on all aspects of life in occupied Kashmir, not only affecting businesses but also causing disruptions in homes and daily routines.

Chairman of Peoples Democratic Front, Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen, speaking in Srinagar to the delegations from Khansahib area of Badgam district said the erratic power supply is causing severe hardships and inconvenience to the masses.

It is to be mentioned here that the prolonged power load-shedding has exposed the Narendra Modi-led Indian government’s claims about the development in occupied Kashmir. While the power generated from the waters of occupied Kashmir is exported to illuminate various Indian states, the people of the occupied territory reel under darkness due to absence of required electricity.
