Minister for National Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain has said a comprehensive plan has been prepared to ensure food security for future generations.

Talking to a private news channel on Saturday, he said this comprehensive strategy is a beacon of hope for the sector’s revitalization and a testament to the government’s commitment to ensuring a food-secure future for all.

The minister said embracing technology and innovation is vital to transform the farming sector and meet the growing demands of a rising population.

He stressed food security remains a top priority for the government, and that the agriculture sector is key to achieving this goal.
