Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Thursday said a collective response will be given in the Parliament to the US House of Representatives’ resolution.
Participating in the programme of a private news channel, he said the matter will be taken up in the Parliament to forge consensus with the support of the opposition benches.
The Minister said Pakistan gave matchless sacrifices in Afghan war, but sanctions were imposed on it after the war. He said Pakistan always depended on International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank, and the United States supports both of these institutions.
Khawaja Asif termed the economic and political stability as part and parcel saying that the country cannot pursue independent policies without stability.
