Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif says a collective response will be given in the Parliament to US House of Representatives’ resolution.

Participating in the programme Suno FM Network today, he said the matter will be taken up in the Parliament to forge consensus with the support of the opposition benches.

The Minister said that Pakistan gave matchless sacrifices in Afghan war, but sanctions were imposed on it after the war.

He said Pakistan always depended on International Monetary Fund and World Bank, and the United States supports both of these institutions.

Khawaja Asif termed the economic and political stability as part and parcel saying that country cannot pursue independent policies without stability.
