Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz has taken notice of the murder of Secretary Punjab Bar Council Ashraf Rahi and sought a report from CCPO Lahore .

In a statement, the Chief Minister said justice will be provided to the victim family at any cost.

He also expressed sympathies with bereaved family.

Meanwhile, President Dr Arif Alvi has also expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the murder of Punjab Bar Council Secretary Ashraf Rahi.

In a press release, the President prayed for high ranks of the departed soul and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.

He called for immediate arrest of the culprits and provision of justice to the family of the deceased.

According to media reports, Ashraf Rahi was killed by unknown suspects in Badami Bagh police limits last night.
