Provincial Election Commissioner of Punjab, Ijaz Anwar Chohan, met the Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, in Lahore today.

The discussion primarily focused on matters related to the upcoming general elections, including the necessary arrangements.

During the meeting, the caretaker Chief Minister assured that the Punjab government is committed to extending full support to ensure the conduct of peaceful elections. He emphasized the importance of collaboration and coordination to facilitate a smooth electoral process.

In response, Provincial Election Commissioner Ijaz Anwar Chohan expressed appreciation for the cooperation extended by the Punjab government, acknowledging their support as crucial for the successful organization of the upcoming general elections.
