CM pays surprise visit to Quetta areas

QUETTA: Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki, said on Sunday that it was the constitutional responsibility of the government to provide security to the people and businesses community and to fulfill the said responsibility, all available resources were being utilised.

These views were expressed by him during a surprise visit to Quetta areas. During visit, he reviewed daily routine lives at Zarghoon Road, Hali Road, Shara-e-Gulistan, Misson Road, Meezan Chowk, Liaquat Bazar, Prince Road, Jinnah Road and Manan Chowk. Expressing satisfaction over ongoing business activities in different areas of the provincial capital, he urged business community not to become the part of any unlawful act.

He said legal way should have been adopted for redressing all the grievances, adding that way to law and peace was the solution of all the problems.

Caretaker Minister for Home, Mir Zubair Jamali, Commissioner Quetta Division, Hamza Shafqaat, and Additional Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Jawad Dogar gave briefing about overall law and order situation and steps taken for ensuring the maintenance of law and order situation in the provincial capital.
