Acting Sindh Governor Syed Awais Qadir Shah, in his message on World Cleanup Day, emphasized the importance of cleanliness and environmental protection. Highlighting the Islamic teaching that cleanliness is half of faith, he urged citizens to adhere to this teaching.

The acting governor said that a clean environment ensures a healthy population. He stressed the urgent need to protect Sindh’s coastline from pollution. Shah appealed to the public to cooperate in environment-friendly programs.

He further stated that reducing plastic waste is a collective responsibility. The acting governor appealed to the public to participate in cleaning urban and rural areas.
