Chinese President Xi Jinping has asked the world to jointly reject a cold war mentality and bloc confrontation.

In a written speech released to media by Chinese delegation at Bangkok to be delivered at a business forum Xi Jinping said acts that inflate conflicts and distort international norms are all too common.

He also said unilateralism, protectionism and any attempt to politicise and weaponise economic and trade relations should be rejected by all.
