China today reiterated its consistent and clear stance on the Kashmir issue, emphasizing the need for a peaceful resolution of longstanding dispute by using diplomatic means.

According to a Kashmir Media Service report, China’s position on the Kashmir issue is consistent and clear stating that Kashmir issue is a dispute left over from history and should be properly resolved through peaceful means in accordance with the UN Charter, relevant Security Council resolutions and bilateral agreements,’ the Chinese Spokesperson’s Office of the Foreign Ministry said.
