A new book has been launched in Southampton, a city in southern England. Titled “The Forgotten Narrative of Jammu and Kashmir,” the book is authored by Chaudhry Saud Sultan, son of Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry. The book launch ceremony was held at the Southampton City Council.

Sultan described the publication as the result of two years of extensive international research, aimed at raising global awareness about the Kashmir conflict. He says the book corrects the distorted and neglected narrative in international debates. The author stressed the importance of providing an accurate and true account of the Kashmir issue to promote better understanding in the global community.

The book was presented to the Lord Mayor of Southampton, Councillor Jacqui Rayment. The launch was attended by Southampton Labour MP Satvir Kaur, Councillors Toqeer Kataria, Dave Shields, Gordon Cooper, Steve Leggett, Chaudhry Sheraz Farooq and other dignitaries.
