President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, has praised the efforts of British-based Kashmiris for actively raising the Kashmir issue on multiple platforms, including the British Parliament.
According to the Presidential Secretariat and Kashmir House in Islamabad, these remarks were made during a detailed meeting with Shaukat Ali, where Councillor Liaqat Ali, Barrister Usman Ali, and others were also present. He emphasized that these Kashmiris deserve recognition, as the UK is a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.
In a discussion with former Mayor of Waltham, Chaudhry condemned India’s severe human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted that the Indian occupying forces have unleashed a massacre of innocent Kashmiris and intensified their oppression. He noted that India has been denying Kashmiris their fundamental rights, including the right to breathe in an atmosphere of freedom, which has been forcibly taken away.
At this crucial time, he urged the Kashmiri community in the UK to continue revealing Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir to the international community.
